 This weekend’s don’t miss includes two Saturday events:  an evening barn dance with all the authentic country trimmings at Hallockville Museum Farm, and an overnight campout at Custer Observatory to enjoy a meteor shower. Sunday savor an afternoon paella feast with wine, music & dancing at Clovis Point.

Those three events are just the start of the varied, dynamic opportunities happening on the North Fork. Shop arts and crafts fairs at Osprey’s Dominion, the Oysterponds Historical Society and on the grounds of the Southold Historical Society; enjoy tours and tastings and explore our many art galleries. Dozens of concerts all weekend long.

Taste wines with the winemaker/owner overlooking the only bay front vineyard.  Discuss growing techniques, winemaking, and history of this almost 100 year old family farm.  Ticket includes a tasting of blanc de noir, steel fermented chardonnay, barrel fermented chardonnay, cabernet franc, and Commodore Perry merlot; a cheese plate; and $20.00 towards wine purchases. 3 pm. Details
