October 6: Greenport Gallery Walk

On the first Friday of every month we will be participating in the Greenport Gallery Walk. Village merchants will be offering animated evenings of gallery events, extended shopping, and activities in our historic maritime village. Join the monthly event of fun, art collecting, demonstrations, and refreshments. 6-9pm. Details.

October 6: Love Lane Crossroads First Fridays

All day participating businesses offer a special discount, demonstration or giveaway, capped with an evening block party on Love Lane & Pike Street, the Love Lane Crossroads, from 6-9 pm. Shops, restaurants and tasting rooms will be open late, live music will serenade strollers, and local artisans will offer crafts, bites and other delights. October 8: Greenport Harbor Brewery 5th Annual Beer & Bivalves Oyster Festival

We’re happy to hold the 5th annual Oyster Festival! Located in the Chase Bank parking lot across the street from the Original Greenport tasting room (rain location: Our Peconic Tasting Room at 42155 Main Road, Peconic.) OG Greenport will be releasing the 2017 Oyster Stout brewed in collaboration with Little Creek Oyster Farm Oysters from over 8 different oyster farms representing 5 bodies of water! Local artist Kara Hoblin will be doing live chalk drawings, and coloring pages for kids! Details.

November 3: 2017 Custer Astronomy Jamboree

Every year the Custer Observatory, in Southold, NY, hosts a weekend of astronomy lectures, stargazing, and friendship. 2017 marks the 39th year of this fun and exciting weekend of lectures, demonstrations, friends, food, music, and of course stargazing! It is a weekend for families, those new to astronomy, as well as seasoned stargazers. Details.
